The Upcoming Maker Mondays Series
Join me for an adventure in creativity!
It’s been a wild few years, right? It definitely has been for me…for all of us…like, everyone on earth. It’s…a lot.
Even with the ongoing and always-emerging crises on a global level, I still hold out hope for humanity!
I am thrilled to tell you about the first-ever Maker Mondays Series.
I am really excited about the poems and prompt journeys I have lined up, and I can’t wait to gather together in this way.
Maker Mondays will meet on Zoom from March 27th - May 22nd, 4:00 - 5:15 pm PT // 7:00 - 8:15 pm ET.
We will read poems by some of the all-time greats for inspiration, and then dive into a prompt-based generative creativity exercise: an opportunity to create a new piece in a nurturing container each week.
There is no workshopping, this is all for the joy of creation.
Maker Mondays are always open to all writers (and creators of all types) at all levels and stages of experience. Visual artists, musicians, dancers and even meditators who just wanted to go on the journey have all enjoyed taking part in Maker Mondays. You can take the prompt journey anywhere you want to go.
You can always register for Maker Mondays via eventbrite on a per-session basis. They are $18 per session when you register in this way (plus fees that eventbrite charges)…
You can also register for the full series with me for $180.
Registering for the full series comes with a free three-month subscription to my brand-new Substack Creatives’ Circle, where the recordings of the prompt journeys from each session will be posted, and you can share your resulting creations with your fellow creatives, if you like.
But…I’m also doing two seperate special discounts on registration right now!
1) The Super Twofer: If you register with a buddy, you can both register for $200 total (only $100 per person). For all 10 sessions! So it’s only $10 a session.
2) Creatives’ Circle: You can also sign up for my Substack Creatives’ Circle, for $180. You will have a year of membership, and you are invited to attend all of the Maker Monday sessions for free. All ten. And, after the Maker Monday series finishes, I will still be posting prompts regularly, and we will also have the occasional gathering on Zoom, so you can continue to play and explore with me and other creatives for a full year.
